Due to an unprecedented number of qualifying grant applications, we are not able to accept Artist Project Support applications at this time.
The program will resume with our next funding cycle, which starts July 1, 2024 for projects beginning after September 1, 2024.

What We Do
The Five Wings Arts Council is a non-profit arts organization that administers grant programs that encourages and promotes arts creation, appreciation, and education to both arts organizations and individual artists. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for Minnesota residents in Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, and Wadena counties, and the Leech Lake Reservation.
We believe that arts organizations, artists, and arts activities provide a path for communities to thrive while contributing to the overall good of the economy. We are fierce in advocating for the arts, and we are dedicated to working together to bring value, experiences, and support to the arts community.

About our Grant Programs
As one of the eleven Regional Arts Councils of Minnesota, the Five Wings Art Council is entrusted with the stewardship and distribution of funds acquired from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage (ACH) fund as well as funds allocated from the General Budget through the Minnesota State Legislature.
We embrace the vision, guiding principles, goals, and key strategies developed in partnership with the Minnesota Regional Arts Councils and the Minnesota State Arts Board. FWAC is committed to working together to accomplish this vision. We do this through grant programs designed to support the work of community organizations and individual artists. The Five Wings Arts Council also administers grant funds from the McKnight Foundation to support the work of individual artists within our region.

Who We Serve
The Five Wings Art Council provides grants and services to community groups art and individual artists in Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, and Wadena counties, and the residents of the Leech Lake Tribal community.
